The big news is that our latest CD, Wide Open, has finally been released. We had a great time at the Release Party at the Red Dog on November 25, 2006. That's five years since the last disc, Praised By Faint Damnation, which might help explain why our "News" page is so short.

The CD is available by calling 1-800-750-7295 or email Conestokers. CDs are $20 including shipping and handling. If you're in Peterborough you can get one for $15 at Bluestreak (444 George Street), Moondance (425 George Street) or stop by big sky design (408 George Street) and get one from Rob.

We were fortunate to have two of Peterborough's best photographers at our CD Release Party in Wayne Eardley and Marlon Hazlewood. Watch for their pics in the Gallery soon.

Well, here's some new news - we'll be playing as part of the Legends Series at the Red Dog Tuesday, December 12, 2006 doing a set of country, alt. and otherwise.

We had a great time performing in the Legends Series at the Red Dog on Tuesday. So, apparently, did the small but enthusiastic band of dancers on the dance floor. Maybe that's what swayed the judges 'cause we're goin' to the show! Tuesday, December 19 we're back at the Red Dog to sing another sweet country set in the Finals. We're up against Colt Harley, Uncle Jim and Jonny Peterson & The Highway. My money's on Uncle Jim...

We came in second to Colt Harley in country music shootout at the Red Dog corral. They're a rockin' band and their biker country beat out our egghead country but then I suppose you gotta pick bikers over eggheads in a smackdown anyday. Anyway, playing the Red Dog was a good time. Look for another Conestokers gig there early in 2007.
